looks awesome. What desk is that????

Cheers mate. Its a Pentos office desk that i got maybe a good 8 - 9 years ago. Cant find the name of it but its 150cm wide by 75cm deep and just over 70cm high.

Not sure if they are still in business im afraid, cant seem to find much with a quick google search.

is that an iMac with windows vista on?

My PC connects to it through the display port. So im basically using the iMac as a monitor. Gaming on the PC / work on the iMac. You can switch back and forward to each one quickly using a keyboard shortcut.

And yep your right reeceLAV its windows 7.

can we have some photos of your computer, it looks great

Sure thing ill put up some photos in the "The New Cases Gallery" shortly.

How did you manage this?
I have tried and never had any success.

Well first off you have to have an iMac that supports displayport video input i.e. all the new 27inch (I dont think 21.5inch ones but i have no experience with these) macs from 2009 onwards.

You also have to have a graphics card in your PC that has a displayport connector or buy an active displayport adaptor.
These are some of the cards I have used and work perfectly:
Palit GTX 570 Sonic
Zotac GTX 460 Amp
Sapphire 6950 2GB

Then on the mac keyboard you hold down ⌘ and press F2 to switch between your Mac and PC desktops.

Thanks.
I suspect the adaptor I hve tried is not an active one then. My card is HD4850 so no native displayport. Might try and source an active adaptor.

Promised myself in January that i wouldn't dick about and buy a bunch of unnecessary upgrades this year.

Then i thought to myself, maybe just change the soundcard..... and the speakers.... and the amp... ah ****
