*** Desk and Room Gallery***

Errrrr

I never said don't have it the way you want it. I never said I was going to use that setup. Never said you had to get up off your chair or leave the room.

Calm the f down. :p

Please less of the above I didn't abbreviate swear at you

I just find it childish.

Killing time working from home covering an outage, obligatory iPhone pic and MBP is in the other room. Honest. :D

Where did you get that chair from mate? Looks really comfy!

it looks like one of those X-Rocker gaming chairs.

Spot on Jony27, the lads bought it for my 30th. It's very comfortable and the rock is awesome but you have to be right under the desk and it's got no castors. Not really fit for purpose but it doesn't fit in the lounge. Does the job, kinda. :)

Reminds me, I've got half a pack of digestives upstairs!

You can buy casters to fit most chairs, check ebay etc.

Is it height adjustable or do you sit quite low to the floor?

You probably can, but that would raise the height of the chair and would be counter to my "low and lazy" view on life. :)

Not adjustable, and I'd say my butt is about a foot off the deck... maybe a bit more actually. It's low but my desk is too, so it works well for monitor viewing.

The neighbours generally don't like me :p mainly because i live in a flat, 1st floor as well so i have people living above and below...
The crossover is set so the Cerwin Vega! VE8f's kick out no lower than 60hz, the sub handles the rest.
I wish i had a room that could take advantage of the quality but i'm confined to a tiny spare room with no way of treating the walls, sound bounces all over the place, less so after an entire weekend of moving and tweaking things.

Finally got around to taking a couple of pics of my new setup.

With wallpaper inspired from an earlier post - sorry the flash makes the colours look unmatched. Since the monitors measure 5'6" from end to end that wallpaper is pretty much life size.
