i could do with a new chair. I was looking at a Humanscale Freedom Task Chair or can any bod suggest a good Chair?
 
I have a Topstar Open Point (made in Germany, I believe) and would recommend it if you're ok with a mesh back. Good deal with about £95 off at Amazon at the moment.

how do you find the desk for comfort btw? I was looking at something like that originally but it didn't look to be deep enough. Steam collection is looking good ....

What have you got in there Rikki? I'm interested to know.

I think mine's going to take about another 12 months to complete at the rate I'm going .... I have to build another racing simulator, some custom stands for consoles and a dedicated console cabinet for my son. Maybe an electronic pinball cab of some description as well if they decide to release Pinball FX for the PC which they say they're working on. So far, I have an arcade cabinet for fighting games, a heavily modded gaming desk, Mk1 of my R-Pod racing simulator and a half finished XBOX cabinet which looks rubbish and will be gladly ditched once I start building a new one.

I think I might have to dig out my camera soon and take a few pictures of my entirely bespoke little home office. Sold my flat a few months ago and moved in with my girlfriend to a nice new house. She had a crap desk, I had a huge IKEA Jerker and I decided to use some of the proceeds of the sale to design and fit an office in the small study room downstairs, which is about 10 feet x 6 feet.

We had quotes off 'national' companies who must have thought I'd won the lottery and not sold a tiny little flat, as they were quoting between £6000 and £8000!!!!!

Had a scout around the Cambridge area and found a place that when I showed them the same design, said base price about £1400 and if I wanted anything special it would be between £1750 and £2000.

Used some of the other cash to build a new PC and got another case to transfer my old PC into for the other half. I'm still putting that one together, so when I get it finished, I'll get some pics up.
