Dream Setup ????

I'm a rack type of guy, I don't want to buy a huge 42U rack case because I don't have enough space for it in my flat. APC 700VA gives me more than 2 hours of battery backup. And about the insides of the PC - I really don't think anything faster is needed today - 3,3 GHz i3 is more than enough for Inventor/Ansys/Mathcad, faster GPU is really not required for single monitor gaming.

So yeah, this PC IS my dream setup, I'm happy with it, I'm a bit too old for buying something new just because it came out.

Best regards from Poland.

1st time i've seen a rack setup on here, makes a nice change. :)

Thanks :) Normal cases are nice, but let's be honest - almost all of them try to copy server solutions - good airflow, hdd-cage mounting etc. Besides, rack case makes you feel a bit like a server hardware admin :D and that floats my boat :D

Best regards from Poland

New desk, made from a solid oak worktop and 4 black steel legs.

Also, yes I know I need a bigger monitor :p, will hopefully be getting a 27" Dell at some point in the future.

Where did you get that table top and legs, if you don't mind me asking?

:)

That's a bit harsh. Check out the location.

lol, what do you mean 'check out the location' ?

are you trying to say that Poland is a poor country and its citizens can only afford really old tech or something? lol

I am in Poland several times a year, in one of the 'poor' areas, not the city, let me tell you, they are not poor and have everything you do, please do not look down on them.

So why are they all here, I can almost hear you ask, because its like earning £125k pa at age 21, I hope this enlightens you
