How much do these cost to run with a decent number to maintain a dust free house.

Dont know i run 9 filtrete filters of various sizes in total, plus 3 room Ionic Air Purifier and a Airfree P60 seems to do the job, but you would not want my lecky bill, i am not exactly what you would call eco-friendly.

Zuludawn how noisy are the purifiers? My place is a dust fest - living in London has it's downsides :P

They are not as loud as my pc, but when i go out in certain rooms i can ramp them up to do their work without disturbing, at full pelt they are like a mini hovercraft. The big ones are mental.

They are very expensive for what they are but i got very one off ebay, no more than £60 for a big one and about £35 for the small ones, the filters are very expensive £15 a pop i change them every 3 months but get 4 for 3 offers online. When you change the filter they are just disgusting so much crap.

Yeh I used to have a couple and they made a racket which is why I did away with them in the end.
Changing filters is a harrowing affair as you do see what ends up going into your lungs! :o

6 to 8 weeks from my sons pit, sort of answers any questions. I don't go in there that often if i can help it, ill will just hoover off the thick and replace in 4 weeks. This i just in front of his pc thank god.

Was thinking way ahead when i purchased all the glossy. Have two 3M Filtrete Ultra Clean FAP03 - Air purifier in this room and one more downstairs and 3
3M Filtrete Ultra Clean Small Room Air Purifier FAP02 in kids rooms with computers in. In this room dust is not a factor, but smeared marks are lol.

The two in this room.

A little expensive but probably worth it in the end.
