My desk is a writers wooden oak desk, its a bit terrrible but my dual monitors fit with my speakers squeezed to each side.

I would get a better desk but tbh I ain't that bothered.

Thought i'd ask here...where are you guys getting your desks from?

I'm looking for a one to house a dual monitor setup with a mid/full atx case on it as well. Preferably a corner desk type.

I made my desk myself as I have an extremely small room that was difficult to get a desk into.

I'd recommend Ikea though based on what people here seem to have pulled off.

For sheer quality/value & choice, it's hard to beat Ikea - Argos' cheap stuff is tat and there "quality" (pff!) range is overpriced...

Desk is a 40mm solid oak, tung oil stained, 1.7-ish metre by 0.96 metre desk.

Dell 27" and HP 24"

PC is held on using a humanscale bracket

It's from a worktop company, made for a kitchen breakfast bar.

worktops express etc. stock them. Then it's simply mounted on the left and right wall and the PC attached to the underside.

Added the Audioengine A2s to my customized/modded desk.

Not as impressive as many setups on here but does the job admirably.

What is that peripheral stand that you use? Is there a smaller desktop one?

Could I get one of these that's about 7ft long by 4ft wide?

Ebay is a decent place for worktops. I bought two 3m long oak worktops for just over £200.

Edit: company I bought from was Kitchensurplus, they still sell on the bay but they cost a little more. But still £145 inc P+P for a 3m oak wortop isn't too bad a price.

Was excellent but I soon wanted something bigger.

i think you'd be better off relegating the case off the main desk and putting the speakers up there. it will sound much better.

Im more often on headphones so I don't really mind and tbh there is no space around to put the case on
Anyway within a month I think Im gonna finish my desk build so will c ;]
