Its not really noisy. Resistors are added to the 2 fans at the back of the DAS to reduce the spinning speed.
however, i find my PC case is noisier...

great case! Will it be big enough for you?
It should suffice for me. I won't be running a lot of hdds in them anyway.
2 of them will house an Asus P5B-VM DO and a Asus P5WDG2-WS Pro motherboard. I don't see a point of getting bigger case as i wont' be able to utilise the extra 5.25" slots.
