...i'm not sure what the bottom one is

Thanks :)

Bottom one is a Dave Smith Poly Evolver. It's the new Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 from the man who designed the original Pro 5. Amazing synth.
The Moog Voyager is awsome!

Ah yes, I remember the box version. They've obviously made it into a keyboard version now. Synth i'm most interested in at the moment is the Elektron monomachine, its so crazy! The sounds on thier site arn't very good, but the ones on an FM magazine disk were cool. Way expensive for me though anyhow, mabye someday :)

Heres my setup now. You can see there isn't enough space for the keyboards anymore but I managed to keep the KS rack and mixer around :) . One of those black boxes on my desk is a genuine minimoog filter. I built it myself from the schematic in the service manual :)

Major kudos. I'm an electronics engineer myself - building analogue stuff can get slippery!

Get a keyboard ;)

Yeah, its quite annoying not having the keyboards around anymore. The smaller one has gone into the loft and the EG-101 is in the spare room. I bring it through when I need it, but the hassle puts me off doing anything :(

Yeah, the filter nearly killed me building it  . Aside from the original schematic I added an ultra smooth power supply board so it runs from a 12VAC adapter, and input and output amplifiers which can also overdrive it. The problems I had turned out to be 2 seperate bits of microscopic solder bidging adjacent tracks (stripboard), niether of which stopped it working, but made it do wierd things (resonance had wierd response and severe modulation at cutoff input). Once I located them and scored them with a knife it was all good to go. Used it yesterday actually.

Yeah, stripboard is a fab media to a point.

Anyway - thanks for sharing your synth enthusiasm!

Thought I'd grab a few snaps whilst things were looking tidy(ish).

Ah a fellow Emu 1820m user I see :)

I've got a Roland Fantom X8 in terms of keyboards :D Wish I could play it though..

He is an updated picture of my desk, decided to move the case onto my desk rather than under.

Hard getting used to it on my desk, still not sure if i like it, i will give it a week or so just to get used to it, and if i still dont like it i will move it back down,

Its only a shot of my setup, the other half of the desk is a bit messy at the moment!!
