The desk is from Ikea, I had to buy the top and legs separately and the monitor is the Samsung 4K, Awesome monitor and couldn't be happier

I thought it could be from IKEA. I am planning on making my own table and yours looks very close to how I've imagined it. At the moment I am thinking about going "EKBACKEN worktop" way. As for your monitor, it looks really nice and I was expecting a much higher price tag. Thanks a lot for your reply mate.

Very nice, I've done a similar thing with a 2M piece of Walnut worktop. Kind of wish I'd gone for the 40mm staves though.

New iiyama 21" monitor to replace old neovo 19". The 1600x1200 resolution means that it matches up with the 1920x1200 dell perfectly. (no cursor hop)


Hobby is starting to get out of hand now.

Rented room in a shared student house means I don't have much space at all for anything better. May replace the desk with a cheap table top and legs from IKEA at some point though, could do with extra depth. Got the bargain-tastic (except for the tacky chrome) chair yesterday for £40 from Viking Direct.

JBL Control 1's, used to have loads of them. Neat little speakers them, shame about the low frequencies though, or lack of.
