The white cabinets and wall mounted drawers, as well as the brackets are all from Ikea - the range is called "Alex".

The worktop is a solid piece of Beech, 720mm deep, 40mm thick, and then cut to the length of my alcove and oiled.

Where is the best place to get a wall mounted desk/table top. Are the easy to put up if I haven't a clue about DIY?

it's not actually fixed - the units underneath come with little rubber grip things which stick on top of them. This stops any movement of the very heavy worktop unless you really try hard..however if you wanted to just pop some screws through the top of the units and into the worktop it would be easy...

Moved house, claimed a room all to myself.. Loads more work to do but this is how it looks so far.

Trunking on the right needs straightening up and cables need tidying are the immediate jobs.

Will be replacing the monitors with a single 27" and getting a TV to sit on the left hand side of the room for my PS4/Sky box.
