Nice, spacious and light! What monitor did you go for @HoneyBadger?
I would say it would need some extra support.Do you think a 3cm oak desktop 180x80cm with steel legs like these could handle 120kg weight? or do you think it would need a support bar? Open to other solutions if anyone has any in mind.

Unless an extremely thick board, I would suggest some steel reinforced bars to link both legs and supporting underneath the board.Cheers. I went from Asus PG49WCD as shown in the pic to a Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P.

Beautiful! Thanks for insperation.I didn't, but as i'm using kitchen worktop it's a lot heavier than the Ikea tops. It doesn't move at all, the only bit that moves very slightly is the pc case section, I had the worktop cut because i didn't intend to have a 3meter desk at the time but when I got the 210cm bit, I thought it was too small so decided to use both worktop bits. I do plan on buying one 3 meter uncut worktop so i don't have a join where my headphones is.
Some people use those small nail size rubber pads to place the worktop on, helps stop movement. You could get a couple flat plates and from the back of the draw to the worktop, drill them together.
I'm doing this exact setup. Got the drawers and worktop coming from Ikea Saturday. I'm ordering some rubber pads of rainforest do you know what diameter and thickness best to use?I have a similar setup (IKEA drawers and a solid oak 2m kitchen worktop). The little rubber pads referenced above have worked a treat for stopping movement. I got a cheap set from the river named online store and they've done me well. Recommended to avoid any drilling
Thanks for the reply. I had ordered some square ones off rainforest 500mm and 5mm thick I get 16 so can stick couple together. It's my first time with this desk setup so didn't spend tons on worktop just an Ikea saljan oak laminate but looks good. Then if it works I might buy quality off worktop express. The ones that I used were about 10mm in diameter, and about 4mm thick.
