Desk chairs, what are your problems with using them?

does anyone make a seat with save able positions like car seats. Drives me mad when been on site with work, come back and some short **** has been in my chair and messed up all my settings.

Seems to take me days to get comfy again,

I have compiled a list of features any respectable chair should have:

  • A retractable fleshlight that self empties
  • A motor, so I can spin on my chair without having to use my feet
  • A turbo button for the chair spinning motor (This is a must have)
  • A cup holder
  • A magical bag of endless, this saves me having to use the desk draws

Replaceable parts. Arm rest wears out, replace them. Seat part wears out, replace it.

Could also go for upgradeable parts. Buy a basic chair, and spec your own armrests, and your own seat, and your own backrest type. Why make a chair to suit everyone when you can make a basic frame, and add your own parts!

We are too far into being a consumable society.

I'd +1 for being able to brake the wheels ... lots of times at work I'd just prefer to be able to look them and stay in one place even if I move on the chair.

Lumber support does tend to be pretty bad.

Armrests ... now we do have height adjustable ones on our chairs at work (about 5 height positions per arm) but the chairs do have a design floor in the base that if you put a reasonable amount of weight on one of the arms it actually snaps the base of the chair about 3-4 inches from the edge (I'm guessing at the inner end of the arm support) ... and it's not just the fatties it's happening too ... so armrests also need to be more secure (for us at least).
