Desk

yes you can, and 74cm from ground to top is perfect for a desk chair :)

tell your dad to go get busy elsewhere, or send him round to me, and i'll sort him out, meddling old fool. ;)

Here's my review.

It's a cheapish wooden chipboard laminate desk, it looks like it probably will come flatpack so I'll need to get my Dad to help me make it. You can place things on top and underneath the desk. It has the following dimensions.
Assembled size
Length: 120 cm
Width: 60 cm
Height: 74 cm
Max. load: 50 kg

I would buy this desk if my budget was £25 :p

You will find that it's not wooden.. that it's laminated chipboard and that it's not going to last very long at all before it looks worn/tired. Then again most desks aimed at consumers do that.

I got mine from an office furniture place in Glasgow, paid way way more than £25 for it of course, but it might outlive me :)

Which desk?
Where from if you know?

Do you think it will last one year with a monitor and kb/m on and the computer case on the floor?

Its a table mate :/
Will stuff fit? Yes > Buy
No > look for a bigger one

Be carefull tho these are well known to only last around 8 month due to the wood they use. The wood has inherent bacteria that causes the wood to slowly decompose intoa sponge like material.

Ok, I will probably get the one thats black, with white legs,
If OcUK does not prove me otherwise
In a year, I might report back if I buy it :o
