** DESK **

they look totally useless. There isnt enough space for knee and upper leg clearance. to compensate you still have to have it much higher, and then it will in the wrong reach for the keyboard and mouse..

you should have about 500-600mm depth unrestricted from the bottom of a normal 25mm desk surface.

the best thing they could do is empty the container into the sea and create a coral reef.

Aside from 500-600mm clearance which seems excessive, I hear what you're saying. Maybe just enhance your calm though.

I'm 6ft and I just measured 20cm from the front of my knee to the edge of the desk. This desk is 80cm deep so even if my legs were up against the underside of it I think it would be fine.
I'll be keeping an eye out for pricing.

Ooh proper measurements. Yeah, seems like a YMMV situation. Either okay or chuck it in the sea

Right then.
heads up for forum members.

we have two Lian Li DK-07 Wood desks that have landed back with us after a courier screw up.
The products are fine but the packaging cannot be sold as new.

As such we will have two of these fantastic Desk cases going live on the site in the coming week as a B-Grade product.

Again, this is purely down to the packaging being damaged and not acceptable to be sold as a new product.

Stock on this product is extremely limited due to the size they take up in a container so this will be a very rare chance to grab one at a discounted rate.

If you want one, keep an eye on the clearance/B-Grade section of the site
ok so this wasnt quite what I was told...

The products we had back were the non wood variant - This model here

I have set pricing for this line at 999.99 (a £170 discount over new price due to the damaged outer boxes)

BG-CAS-LIA-03725 will be the code and it will be live around monday next week.

Apologies the initial info wasn't accurate.

Would be better if the rads blew air out the back. Can only imagine how hot your legs will get in the summer playing demanding games.
Seems an odd choice. I'd probably try the front rads as intake and rely on passive exhuast out the back and sides. Maybe a fan in the back (in either direction) would help keep VRM temps under control.

the fan positions above your legs is the intake for the case. The rear panel has the exhaust fans on it.

Ok, I was going by the build video in post 19 where they have the rads exhausting the hot air towards you, across your legs. And all the main rad positions push air towards your legs so the only way for it not to happen is to have the rads as intakes.

if I was putting fans onto my rads, I would want them intaking.
the fans at the front of that demo video are reverse blade so would be pulling air from the front of the desk to the rear.

assuming they have thrown in the extra rads for the demo rig down the side. they are blowing down and out of the desk.
but they are obviously doing that to show the hardware capacity of the case.

Nice idea, but not £1,199.99 nice. Ouch. And once you roll out your desk mat, it'll hide that lovely tempered glass. Wonder if they'll release a "lite" version (and also a lighter colour wood variant) which can perhaps take a more reasonable single E-ATX build for us working class cheapskates. :p
Unfortunately i too would hide that nice glass with a large mouse mat and keyboard monitors and junk

much like the other high end chassis offerings from Lian Li, this case does not come populated with fans.

we have a full fan offering on our website that will allow you to customise your system to your needs.
