I spent 150 quid on 2m length of solid beech worktop, mounted it by holding it up with a dozen scrap bits of 2x4 bolted straight to the wall at the back and sides for that floating look, enough room for me an my daughters rigs on one bench

1200 quid for a desk? nuts

so this cant go via DPD as the box is pretty gigantic. These ship via pallet courier. Whilst they will bring it to your house, it does not include room installation.
