This has been bugging me for a while.
Basically, since I installed Vista, I'm finding that when I exit some games (Quakeworld, Far Cry) my Desktop gamma is suddenly really bright and washed out.
Now, if I go into Nvidia control panel and just click the slider for brightness (don't even need to move it), my gamma is reset back to normal. It's just incredibly annoying to have to do this everytime I quit those games.
I've probably used at least 8-10 different sets of drivers and it's been the same with all of them iirc. I'm guessing it is something to do with the way these games control gamma that is causing this to happen, but the question is, does anyone know a good solution for this?
