Desktop mic?

I've ordered the Hyper Cloud headset but some of the reviews say the mic is poor. Is it possible to get a decent desktop mic for £20?

I'd wait until you get the headset and then try it for yourself. Can't think of decent USB desktop for £20. Samson Go, is said to be very good, but that is £30+

Logitech Desktop Mic, Blue Microphones, Samson mics. Everything discussed in this thread, with the addition of the Logitech mic - which, btw, suits your needs very well and would be one of the better options if you dislike the mic - is in this thread. How does it not help?

Get an old Singstar/ Rockband mic and a separate stand. Under £20 easily and they sound clear on TS and voip.
