Desktop notes overlay?

Hey all,

I'm looking for an application that allows you to display notes on top of your desktop wallpaper, any suggestions? Is this a thing?

Requirements:

- Cannot be minimized/doesn't have an icon in the task bar
- Allows font changes/size/colour
- Preferably easy to edit/change the text, e.g. click straight onto the text to copy things out

Kind'a like Rainmeter, but for notes.


Windows' sticky notes isn't good enough, I need to display more info and have colour sections. And txt files on the desktop get forgotten about, lol.


If anyone has anything similar to the above, let me know please!

my 2c -
can you use OneNote and just create individual notes (font/colour as you want) strategically placed in a one note page (effectively a white-board space) this way have easy visibility of all notes / daily archiving / sharing / search
Screen capture sections can be easily put into notes too.

Maybe you have a lot of screen real estate (4k?) but I rarely get to see a desktop wallpaper, with other application windows open , so being able to store the notes consolidated in onenote is superior ?

It's a decent suggestion! However I don't have OneNote on my PC at work, it's not included in the office package we use

It's a dual monitor setup though, and I often minimize everything on the second screen so it appears more tidy, plus I get to see a nice picture instead of tons of work! Was going to display the notes on that screen so I always have sight of them.
