OK, I have a relatively good windows desktop at work, and a macbook. I have noticed that at many meetings I go to some people have now moved over to laptops so their whole 'work lives' are portable and e-mail and docs are easily accessible.
It seems that work are not to against the idea of me changing my current win desktop over to a laptop replacement. I basically use office, outlook (for managing my thousands of e-mails), and occasional photoshop stuff etc

some have macbook pros, some have Dells (that is all work will provide)....im torn against which to go for...someting like the Dell M1530 look good (and come with 1920 screens, but the macbook pro looks sort of sexy (although it could date?)

I suppose weight is another factor....lugging a 17inch around doesnt seem an option so a 15 will be better.

anyone gone through this process? Anyone 'missed' their old windows tower?

:)

hi well i have a windows vista 65 bit desk top pc at home only reason i have this not a mac pro is to make a quad core computer with 8gb of ram and stuff from apple is very expensive and macs not that good for games

but i also have a macbook pro 4gb of ram and so on tbh its a nice spec laptop and i love it over windows laptops i think in laptops i would alway go with a mac over a dell or windows as apple just put so much stuff in to there laptops and it all works so nice and easy never had a problem with it and i use it traveling with me all over the world.

and the best thing is if you dont like osx or want to change back to windows you can using boot camp so get a mac best of both worlds.
