After trying various options with the Ruarks, I've returned them as managed to get deal on some Adam Artist 3s. Everything I was looking for in terms of sound signature. Shame about the ruarks just found the bass a bit muddy overall.

good job, I have the cheaper but bigger Adam F5s and am not disappointed either. Adam might be a little on the expensive side but they are definitely worth it.
