Just read that there will be a PC version coming out in march for this epic looking game.
Bungie did an amazing job with the halo series so hopefully with this RPG/FPS crossover they will steal my heart for a few years.
Been watching some of the alpha and beta footage and it looks amazing.
Just wondering if anyone else is excited for this?
 
Didn't realise there was going to be a PC version, the console version looks like it could be a winner so I'll be keeping my eye on this. Hopefully they do spend a bit of time adding some bells and whistles for the PC crowd,
 
It was leaked a couple of days ago saying it will be march 2015, to add those bells and whistles you're talking about :)
Far too many lazy ports nowadays, so it's nice to see that they want to do it properly.
It's a game made for PC gamers in my eyes.
 
Great news if it ends up being true. Slightly annoying as by the point it arrives I'll personally be Destiny-ed out I imagine after playing the PS4 version.

Still might mean a harder choice of platform for Destiny 2 if it arrives at the same time as the consoles.
 
Sure this is right? I was under the impression that Destiny for PC wasn't going to happen as Bungie wanted to concentrate on the console release.
 
been playing it loads on PS4, while its great fun dont expect any suprises, if you enjoy Mass Effect/Halo then you will enjoy this.

The main issue i have on console FPS is the FOV is so tight it makes me feel nauseous, i also am not a big fan of the multiplayer "crucible" as the jet packs make it seem very like unreal tournament/tribes.

Saying all that ive still sunk a ton of hours into it and the random events they throw in combined with the easy matchmaking in fireteams for co-op means im sure it will be a success.
 
Just bang it into google. No official statement as it was leaked, but the vast majority of forums and game sites are saying march 2015
 
Bump for this as there's still been no confirmation of the release in March and no advertising or previews or anything. Has anyone heard anything concrete other than a Steam DB entry from last year?
 
It's a very good game, still playing on PS4. Any official news on PC version? It's a beautiful looking game, I'd like to see it running at higher res and 60fps.

Half right. The mechanics are second to none, it's the saving grace of the game. There is a lot of repetition, which isn't for everyone, but for many people the game plays so well that it's not a problem.

Some fans did find references they thought were for a PC version the other day when mining the source files on console, but it's not confirmed.
 
Such a dull and tedious console game, seriously it's so poor and repetitive. You will hear things like 'amazing gun play' and 'rich environments' 'next gen graphics' which might have been true 10 years ago.

Honestly, I've watched mates on console force themselves to play this because it's from Bungie but everything that happens is so monotonous.
