Hi I was trying to install two new 750GB hard drives in RAID today, I plugged them in and then fired up the machine which started up fine. I set up raid and booted from my vista CD. Everything seemed fine but I had forgotten to set up something with the RAID setup so I reset the machine. however when it came back on it just displayed "DET DRAM" on the LED display (asus maximus motherboard). I've tried everything to get it back.
I've tried:
Each stick of memory one at a time (2x1GB corsair dominator ram DDR2)
Different memory slots
Unplugging new hard drives
Unplugging battery and power for 15mins
And still it just displays DET DRAM.
Is my memory or motherboard fried or is there an easy answer.
