I just used a credit card to prize the side repeaters out and the front ones took about 2 minutes, they just used a screw.

It really is that simple.

Can you replace that ugly chrome strip on the front of the mk1 focus? really ruins it IMO.

Yes go for it, cheap mod that really makes a difference. Some cars suit an orange indicator but the Focus and especially the mk1s with the big front repeaters don't IMO.

You'll also need chrome bulbs for the front. I didn't need any chrome bulbs for the sides as the Ford clear repeaters i got totally hide the orange bulb. But the fronts you could see the orange through the plastic and it looked rubbish.

I think its just the Ghia that comes with that chrome strip. Mines a Zetec and hasn't got any chrome strips on it. Not sure how its held in place but i would imagine if its taken off it'll take some paint with it or leave holes.
