I know you'd bone FF8 if it were a woman but I must agree, the cut scenes were absolutely magnificent. I mean I remember watching it and going "wow, wonder if we'll ever get in-game graphics like that." Them were the days. *nostalgic tear*

FFX's cut scenes are still gorgeous today!
 
A trailer has just gone up for the new Dues Ex game but if you cast your eye to the bottom of the video near the end you'll spot not only the PC logo but also the xBox logo and the PS3 logo. Seems like this game won't be only on the PC after all.
 
There is no way a game these days would be released to a single platform, but if its being developed primarily as a PC game then it won't be a crappy port, so it's all good. News on DE3 has been so slow recently, I wonder if it will make 2010.

Still, can't wait for it!
 
Took me years to get round to original game too and even longer to complete it as my save got corrupted at one point and CBA to start again as I was quite far in :p
 
I'd still be happy if it were released on consoles, just for the comparison. Even if they backpedal on their PC exclusive announcement, the game would have been developed for the PC and adapted for consoles, so if it's well-executed it should become a beacon of righteous superiority for the supercilious PC gaming master race, haughtily strolling between high-precision control interfaces and vastly superior graphics with a rose-scented hankie pressed firmly to their noses to block out the stench of the foul console-owning peasants littering the gutters. Or something.

I don't know why people have such a hard-on for 7... 8 is clearly better :p Not just a little better... 8 stomps all over it :p

Although I'm not sure if I 9 is my favourite or 8... that's a tough one. Real tough. I think I need to replay all of them now :D
