Deus Ex: Human Revolution

i do like the music in this game, as for game itself it's not bad, story so far keeps me wanting to play more. Tried playing the 1st Deux EX and couldn't get what all the fuss was about. So overall liking it.

yeah but grens seem to kill me no matter what if i run from them im gunned down and he either circles the pillar or grenades me. Done it now loaded earlier save and took an upgraded pistol and some grens just grenaded him after cutscene put 16 bullets in his head ducked reloaded took two bottles of painkillers 3 more bullets did him. Real shame though that they didnt cater to my play style i specifically did not want to play it as a shooter.

There are items in the room you can pick up and throw at him, boom.

Edit: There are also grenades, ammo and guns if you really need them. The cut scene before the fight ends and you immediately start with cover in front of you, it's very simple to not get hit by him.

This aint my first rodeo cow girl.

It isnt easy and it shouldnt be in there, no reason you should HAVE to fight a tank like boss. Since this point however the game has improved a lot and i have been able to work around other problems

serious lack of decent ammo types in this game, you will find certain parts promote different weapons and when you start finding LOADS of ammo get ready for a boss battle :)

so um, I've ended up in a large room (first bit of the campaign) with about 7 enemies in and I've got 1 bullet left, need that sniper rifle power up from Bulletstorm!

Loving it so far - put in a fair few hours, and still only on the first set of missions! Value for money (unless there's only a handful of mission sets that is).

Really enjoying it though, it feels like a modern day mix of both past games.

I've got a question if anyone can help me out! What happens if you sell a weapon to a merchant that has been upgraded? It's just that I was thinking that there are a load of weapons that when you pick them up you only get their ammo rather than the weapon itself to sell on and make some money! Does that make sense? A little bit like a credit harvesting thing?

Played this for ages over the weekend. Absolutely loving it, it feels very much like the original. Loving some of the augmentations, although I'm being careful where I put my points now.

Got to the Detroit Police Station yesterday and absolutely cleaned it out. I think I left 5 cops awake in there, the rest of them were all tranqed / stunned / taken out. I even interrupted some dude's interrogation and nailed him in the face with a tranq lol! You can have so much fun just going around on your own, doing bits of the side missions and exploring your way through the city. Can't wait to play it again this evening!

I played the game pretty much all weekend, which should tell you all you need to know about its awesomeness as I haven't done that for years ;) Loving the Uncharted-style cover system that would have improved the original had it been available at the time.

I really miss the lack of quick save/load though - as I prefer to play a stealth game it's quite frustrating having to go through the load process every time I set an alarm off. Also some of the levels aren't quite perfect e.g. there's a level where two bad guys are standing in front of a turret, clearly an elementary mistake that is punishable by death, so I sneak round them and start hacking the security terminal but for some reason they were able to see me every time I started hacking - I'm pretty sure they didn't have LoS.
