Picks up, or gets good? Picking up from an awful season could mean just getting to average, and I have other shows still on my wait list (Trailer Park Boys for example).
 
Have to say that I also found Workaholics to be quite poor.

Keep meaning to check out Parks & Rec though. Everyone I know who's seen it says that it gets good in season two and just keeps getting better despite how poor season one is.

I'm surprised I'm in the minority here, as apart from females who probably wouldn't find this guy humour funny, it's excellent

I just find the main characters really annoying.

I have no problems with self-obsessed idiots, as my love of It's Always Sunny proves, but I just can't get on with the Workaholics cast. The only episode I vaguely enjoyed was when they did shrooms in the office.
