Devil May Cry 5

Hey guys I just checked and the amd rewards code is there now to. so :)

I will download and play now. I loved number 4 years ago so hopefully I will like this one.

Was watching Cohh stream this yesterday. The game looks great and seemed to play really well. Tempted to pick it up this weekend.

To be honest I probably wouldn't have taken much notice if I wasn't getting it with my AMD reward code, haven't played a DMC game since the second one. But really looking forward to giving it a blast, great to see it getting good reviews.

Did first mission, plays smooth on my gaming laptop at 1080 res, GTX 1060 and i7-8750H CPU, most setting are on high.

Will continue later tonight on my HTPC which has a 2700x and Vega 64 connected to my 4k TV.

Anyone point me in the direction of a list of PC controls for this, cannot use a controller due to problem thumbs?

I have an AMD reward code for this and was wondering if I could give it to my nephew. Any ideas if this is possible?

You have to redeem the coupon on an AMD rewards account which checks for the correct hardware. You then log into your Steam account through the AMD rewards site to activate the game, so if you have your nephews steam log in details then it's possible :)

or once you have activated the rewards you can the rewards account over to whoever and they can activate on steam

Not much a fan of the summoner guy 'V', he feels very disconnected from combat as you don't attack directly, very egregious in a game like this. Have to commend Capcom on their creativity and willingness to try something new though, just hope he isn't in many missions.

Got this from AMD Rewards. Applied widescreen fix, works well.

My impression after an hour? Just imagine if everyone involved in this game had done something worthwhile with their talent instead. All that amazing technology and artistry deployed in service of a schlocky sub-B-movie mess that would make an immature 13 year old embarrassed by its tone and content. Who is it even made for? It makes Marvel movies look like War and Peace. The music is god-awful EDM. The gameplay is terrible, floaty, with poor feedback.

(FWIW I really enjoyed REmake2, and that had Capcom's similar B-movie vibe.)

Also - the UI is a slow, and confusing mess. No effort is made to explain most of the jargon.

I just wish I could have sold the steam code.

I booted up earlier for a blast and really liked it, the story I thought started off great very funny I liked the characters and loved the music.

If you dont like you are in the minority it's like 92%+ user rating on steam

Performance is good to 1440p Im locked to 60fps max settings with a gtx 1080.
