Devil May Cry for the 360 CONFIRMED

This is good news for the console scene. DMC is a cracking game and the more people that get to play it the better. It should work out well for Capcom as this should signifficantly increase their sales.
It was one of a number of games that was a factor in me wanting a PS3 and even though I will probably get the 360 version, I still really want a PS3.

Sweet, I've only ever played the first dmc and I thought it was brilliant if a little short, action was superb!

First one was amazing, graphics and gameplay were awesome.

The final boss was mental!

Always wanted to play the other 2, hopefully we won't need to for when 4 comes out on the 360.

1st was good, 2nd was ok/average, 3rd was better than 1st, i've played them all and loved the series (2nd one not included), a worthy edition to the 360 for 360 owners, will be intereted to see what differances between them when launched (if any)

Anyways, this is good news. It makes sense to go multiformat.

But as games get expensive to develop, wouldn't the point of having multiple consoles be eroded away? Imagine several generations from now; making games would cost so much, that developing for one console would be incredibly risky. Would we eventually see just one console in the future? Food for thought.

What they are basically saying is that the PS2 sold so many we made enough money from DMC. However, DMC 4 cost so much to develop and the PS3 has sold so few and the 360 so many, we stand to make 5xs the profits by making it cross format.

Resistance is the best selling title so far on PS3 and Motor Storm seems to be a decent game too. Sony seem to be good at creating new franchises right now. Their first party is very strong right now.

God of War 3 is going to be awesome.

Precisely. There arent enough next gen consoles sold yet. It doesnt make sense for 3rd parties to be exclusive unless they already make their money back before even selling the game(the lucky ones).

HiDef trailer on gametrailers, looking nice and 1 title/genre that the 360 is lacking and will no doubt boost a fair few console sales if the PS3 is still at its high price. Sony must be squirming in their seats atm

If Capcom want to thank 360 owners, give us a streetfighter 2 game!! Surely their biggest ever franchise. Or help MS fix their BC to make the xbox versions of the game work. I have the xbla version which is nice, but I want a more recent one!!!!!

Loved Devil May Cry on PS2. Never played any of the more recent ones. Hope this is good, and is coming soon!!

This is great. I'm one of the biggest DMC fans ever. I really don't want to get a PS3, but now I can enjoy it on my pc atleast. Though DMC3SE on pc was terrible. The controls was just pants! WASD to move and ijkl to attack .

Resistance is not a 1st party title.
It was developed by Insomniac who are an independent studio.Though they seem to stick heavily to the Sony consoles.

My purchase of an Xbox 360 is shaping up to be a good investement, now that I know I can get GTA and DMC for it.
