This is my very first ever project build for you all.

Still missing a lot of bits yet including the most important 4790k and z97 mobo. If 4790k doesn't come out in early June then I'll be adding 4770k for the mean time until Devil's Canyon release.

Watch this space in the coming weeks.

Half of my stuff here.. Other half getting delivered this Tuesday after bank holiday.

what board are you thinking of? hero wasn't it?

Hello wazza. Yes, it's the top of my list so far. Still looking at others but the hero is my favorite so far. I know everyones done a red theme, but I've never done red ever. I've done every colour but red.,but this time I am. Red , white and some dark colour.... I'll just let whatever color I use just happen. I'm always changing things last min sometimes. In the end you never know what the rigs going to look like :D

Also everyone here seems to be into total water cooling there system. I'm not into that at all. I just don't have the time or patience. Too busy most days with my 4 year old son.

Yes. mate, Wallet is very sore :) Also upgrade light bar doesn't come in red, but I've seen it modded red. It's very easy to do. I'm doing a red, white and dark theme. I'll keep the ram white. It looks classy in white I think.

Rest of my gear showed up. I also got a BluRay drive and some cables with Corsair Lighting node for some added Bling :D The 2 AF140's white LED are for the front. I'm not doing a LED fan on the back Just a single AF120 with red ring. The Corsair Lighting Node will cover the lighting in the case nicely.

The one thing I'm worried about is fitting the H105 in the Corsair 450D which corsair says the H105 is not compatible with the 450D. I've seen 3 build with a H105 in a 450D. I'll make it fit some how:D I have a H100i also, but the reason I don't install that is because the link software doesn't work well with Wins 8.1?

Now just waiting for Devil's Canyon and a z97 Mobo...????

Cmon Intel! don't let me down?

It looks like it'll be a great rig, What monitor are you planning to use with it and did you consider the 6gb 780's and if so why did you decide to stay with the three g models?

Hello mate. Thanks :).

I use a 1440p monitor. Also a 6gb 780 would be a utter waste. I'm not going 4k any time soon. 4k just isn't worth it atm so 6gb isn't needed. I use my 780's at 1440p and don't have vram issue at all.
