These cards look exceptionally good, just not sure I can stomach the price, especially as you cab get a decent 770 for the same money. Tempting for looks alone though!!

Agree, but the 770's at that price are super nasty looking. I bought these for for the looks and my theme really.

Very true. I must admit I'm very tempted myself, guru 3d seemed to get some very good overclocks out of them. They would make a good couple of cards to go with the Asus g sync monitor until the full fat 800 series comes out.

Just wish they were like 25 cheaper. I know its not a lot just would sweeten the deal

Exactly mate. I only bought these for the time being until the 800 series comes out.If 800 prices are high I'll stick with these until I see a great deal.

They are a little more pricey then the others only because of how good the cooler is(lower 60's in Heaven) and you have to admit the Asus Striker is a damn beautiful looking card

This build is pretty much near done.

All I need to do now is put 2nd GPU in when the replacement comes next week. Do the case lighting and do the most important part of this build. Install 4790K Cmon intel....????

Looks good, hows the 450D?

It's ok. The case is a lot tighter (smaller) then I first thought. Cable management is going to be tough and is tough.

I might only have this case until X-mas. I do like the In-Win D-Frame mini, but the problem there is it's only mini itx It is my fav so far.

You should see them both light up. The red led and performance led's are cool as hell. Blue on idle, red on full load. The issue with my 2nd GPU was idle was green and full load was some kind of orange-ish red-ish yellow-ish? It was flicking.

Are you planning on attempting to over clock these cards at all?

I am debating whether to get something like a 780 CUII and maybe add another later in the year, or get two of these and have a play with over clocking until the full fat 800 seres gets launched. Man its difficult!

Of course I'll oc a little. I would do the latter. That's what I'm doing. My 2 Asus 4gb Strikers will hold me until next year. I'm in no hurry to upgrade now that I have these 2 beautiful gpu 's

What monitor do you use dude?

I use both my 1440p and my 1080p tv. I've been gaming more on my tv more so the 760's is more then enough.

You should have kept your 780's, would have lasted you a lot longer than those 760's

I thought that too,but tbh mate selling my 780's now was.a better move to get the max price out of them before prices lower. Also I should get money out my Asus Strikers because of the beautiful custom cooler then a reference 780. I always look a head. My 760's are fine until 880's release.

I always thought light under mobo would look amazing. The new MSI z97 gaming 9 board does this and it looks awesome!,but reason why I didn't get it was bios is near where near as good as Asus boards.

Really simply to do, 2 Bitfenix LED strips slipped under the board and the cables hidden, Gives it a nice effect I think

I've bought the corsair lighting node. I saw and liked what corsair has done with them at trade shows. I also have the nzxt hue lighting. I really like it,but wanted.to try the corsair lighting node.

and yeah asus have the best bios's out of all the manufacturers imo,very slick

The MSI z97 Gaming 9 board has red LED's underneath the mobo. I saw it and thought wow it looked amazing,but bought Asus instead because it had the better bios.

Having a hard time finding other Asus Striker 760 where the LED's work right. On my 4th Striker now. Idle and load LED'S are all messed up Asked for refund and hope I can find other striker that works like the one I have already. Hope I can sort this out before the DC 4790k releases? Wanted to show final product photo's

What a great day it is today. Getting 4790k tomorrow. and YES I have found a Asus Striker with working LED's yes, yes!!!

I think the Asus Striker batch at OCUK are faulty. I bought this new one yesterday for another retailer and they said it was from the first batch they got. . I said I'll take it because the older batch work good. this newer batch seems messed up. LED's are not working right. Don't care now. I have 2 properly working GPU's

I'm happy I have one that does what it's supposed to do

Looks good, what's in the small box that says evga on it ?

SLI Bridges that light up EVGA,but since my new GPU's are not a 770 or higher it won't light up. The bridge still works though.
