Question about LaGuerta:
Why did LaGuerta hide the blood sample?
because she knows its someone in her department and she wants murders down also i think she knows dex is a wrong un 
LaGuerta was close friends with Sgt. Doakes.
Dokaes was obsessed with and following Dexter. Doakes told her that "there's something wrong with him". She never believed that he was the Bay Harbour Butcher. Whether or not she suspects Dexter directly, she wants to investigate the slide in the hope of posthumously clearing Doakes.

Doubt it, I think that is taking it a bit too far, I think she will end up helping him with the murders. There is going to be another season after this right? So I really can't see that happening tbh

No chance. He said himself that if he was capable of love he'd love Deb (that's how he put it in the books) and she's the one constant in his life, the tie he has to Harry and the code.

That'd be like every other tv show around, glad they didn't.
Much better than S06 already, S06 was the worst pile of crap I've endured. Thankfully, the writers have kicked themselves into gear.
great character development on Dexter/Debs (not some incest ****) and none of the buddy buddy lets get high cop show with Batista and Quinn.
With 4 characters all potentially honing in on Dexter, this is going to be fantastic!

And no, season 6 was woeful, Batista being a pedophile, Batista and Quinn getting high, Dexter and Debs incest story, a villain you figured out in the first 3 episodes, a crap villain, dexter constantly talking about his dark passenger every 30 seconds.
The writing was poor, extremely poor.
