I honestly found her really annoying :o

She was meant to leave for holiday, that was the whole point.

Dexter arrived and found her at home.. dead.

The reason behind it, was to show how his killing / failure to finish Trinity was catching up with him.

I didn't find her to be too bad, but her death was good for the show. Dexter was starting to get too comfortable and acclimatised to a stable family life. Her death, and his feeling that it was his fault, shook him up in an interesting way.

Can't have your main protagonist get too comfortable, particularly in a show like Dexter!
 
Anyone know if this is being sold in digital format anywhere?
Showcase have got scared of online streaming and doesn't look like netflix will ever get 4th series. But I also can't find it online anywhere.

And well I only have one DVD drive left, which isn't even connected up, yet alone to a TV.

I'm on Ep 3 of series 5 been avoiding this thread for 2 months now while I watched seasons 1-5. bought them for 25 quid can't decide if season 6 is worth 18 quid alone.

I think over the piece 5 quid a season has been good value.

Great initial idea I'll be sad when it's gone from my life....

However

Anyone else think he's evolved into a horrible character over the seasons. I love the vigilante style he had in season 1 attcking those that had escaped justice but in season 4 he decides to deliberately hide the trinity killer which makes me hate his character. I miss Rita :(
