DF: Black Hawk Down

I'm not in any squads anymore, I setup & ran Virtual Soldiers =VS= for a few years. I play 2142 mainly now under Spookkiller i dont really play any other games online as im also busy all the time..

And now OCUK is my new home as well as my business but cant talk about that here as it against rules :(

Im glad NovaHQ will expand. You guys have done a good job keeping it running for so long but i guess with everything change/additionals is a must to keep it running.

Say hi to panther for me, he may/may not remember me.

omg played DF2 for years, used to be called Dirk Diggler and my mate is The Victim, should still be a couple of maps available :)
 
Well, Black Hawk Down won't launch on Vista 32 bit :(

Managed to install it, as well as Team Sabre, but it keeps reporting an error with 1 patch file. Have tried repatching etc, maybe I need to do it manually, rather than through Nova updater?

Also get an error when I try launching, just says 'Saved to sysdump.txt' and then quits.

Shame :(
 
Going to give it another crack, although I just reinstalled. Ah well.

When you say delete the file, do you mean the directory? and I think that got removed anyway...
 
yar i mean the directory. sometimes people have reinstalled and left some files, although this seems pointless because a reinstall should overwrite everything (?), you would be suprised at the number of people that have done that as a last resort and things have worked out ok.

BHD definitely works with Vista, but you are not the only person with vista that has problems with BHD. but like with a lot of problems, people fix things and then never come back and say how! hehehe.
 
Working now, can get onto multiplayer servers fine.

But now, I'm getting auto-kicked after between 5 - 15 seconds :(
