"I noticed this issue the day after receiving the board. I assumed it was just me pushing the board to hard. However it has now been confirmed to happen by xx and xx, both members of OCX, and one other person.

If the Frequency Unlimit option is set to Enabled and a full CMOS clear is performed the board may no longer boot. Upon rebooting the multiplier is set to 15x so instead of booting at stock speed the system attempts to boot at 3990MHz. Very few processors can boot at this speed with stock voltage using ambient temperature cooling so the board appears dead.

To get the board back up will require the CMOS being cleared and a locked multiplier cpu installed. The board will then boot.

Few users should actually encounter this problem as it is random and rare. Also the board is so good at recovering from booting up with faulty settings that a full CMOS clear is rarely needed."
