DFI Lanparty no RAID diskette

Just purchased one of these excellent motherboards from the MM. Have been pulling my hair out trying to install windows in a RAID array but there are no instructions.

I have finally given up and packed everything away only to find a list of package contents for the mobo which says there should be a diskette with the RAID software on it.

This would make sense as windows asks to press f6 if i want to load third party raid drivers.

Is there any other way around this considering I dont have a floppy drive in the first place?

Not really. You could put the driver file into the windows install but it involves slip streaming the install CD - it can be a real pain to do correctly. Buy or borrow a floppy drive until Vista.

Sure you cant disable the raid and show them as normal IDE drives for installing windows (sorry for the lack of anything more technical, it's a Monday morning)

Thanks for your inpuit guys - got round it in the end by downloading new raid drivers and temp fitting a floppy drive
