had everything running nicely till I flashed the BIOS (needed for my GeForce 7950) then Windows XP died - even with the old video card.
I only have 1 PC with SATA, so I installed XP on a spare IDE disk but Windows couldn't recognize the raid, but good old MS-DOS did, so I had to backup all my data from a dos boot disk - only does 8.3 format tho
With everything backed up I could format my disk and do a fresh install.
Except now, when I get to the XP installer where it asks where you want to install, it says 150Gb raid OR 75Gb single drive - wtf ? theres only 2 hard disks in now and they are raided. so it should only see the raid.
I did press F6 and installed the "Required" two NVidia raid drivers from floppy - i even tried the latest ones.
Anyone any idea ?
thanks
