DFI NF4 HDD Problems

DFI INFINITY NF4 ... so its all nVidia RAID ...

Right, i have 3 x WD 120gb SATA in RAID0 ... fine

I have a seperate 250Gb Maxtor DM10 SATA1 which doesnt want to show in windows, though it does in BIOS, and ive got data on it i want to use... its just a single drive, and has been fine as storage on my other pcs and through upgrades ...

Anyone any ideas ?

I think its all set ok in bios... i have 4 x RAID Channels... do i set all 4 as RAID enabled ? or turn the one the Maxtor is on to disabled ?

solved...

had to turn RAID off on the non raid drive's channel :rolleyes:

OT: what speed does your setup get in HDTach?

212 mb/s burst speed
13.5ms access time
112 mb/s average read

that is just tested, no optimisation or anything if that makes much difference

bought 4 of those drives (120gb SATA1, 8mb) off XS, 4 for £70 once translated from US$ ... INC

... sold one for £40 on this side of the pond... still have warranty til mid 07

Nice speed, is about the same as my two 250Gb Hitachi Deskstars.
