DGM ips-2701wph power brick has gone pop.

im just saying same thing happened to me but with an lg monitor,surely dgm have a contact email? tell them to send you a new power adaptor as yours has blown or ask ocuk to get one for you

Ah gotcha. I've asked Bailey whats the best option. Doubt ocuk will have spares. Fear its going back tbh but i will try a replacement brick first if DGM will send one out.

I sent my brick back yesterday via special delivery so should get there today at some point. Will keep note of how long it takes them to return to me a working brick. I also asked for a new stand as well as the old one is wobbly. Not holding out much hope though of getting a new stand.

Yes! My new brick is coming today, wow that was quick. Sent it back two days ago special delivery. Impressive DGM! Now i just need to hope the old brick going pop did not kill my monitor. :eek:

Joking apart. It's an occupational hazard with these monitors. At some point the brick will blow. I've got two of them. One blew within the first 6 months and no doubt the other one will let go at some point.

Earlier in the year I had my brick replaced. Sent it back on the Thursday and received a replacement on the Tuesday

I asked for a new stand as well as the old one is very wobbly. I wonder if they will have included that as well. One can hope.

Good old Gabor. He broke down. Just delivered and delighted to say the monitor works fine. My, what a difference it makes from that TN panel. Its like having a brand new screen again. Oh the colours and angles. :cool:
