DHCP on Windows XP

You can do this using windows XP ICS (Internet Connection Sharing). Its fairly easy to setup and is wizard driven, only problem is you cant change the IP range it serves or the IP on the machine that is serving IP addresses. If you search around the web I am sure there are plenty of third party packages that will do this for you. A good place to start would be www.tucows.com . Out of interest why do you need a DHCP server? If you have a router, the router can dish out IPs and you dont need to leave your PC on that way?
