Diablo 3 (Console versions)

With seasons on console now its pretty good. You get a set as a reward and I managed to get to Torment 9 and higher, further than I ever have outside seasons with it.

I'm liking Necromancer as well, I dont normally like minions but the Necromancer can be like a cascade of death, kill one and you can use that corpse to knock everyone else down.

Yeah I played Season 11, it's cool that it forces you to start again with no stash because outside of seasons it's crazily easy to level from 1-70 with the right gear/gems. I think it took me about 2 hours to do it on a Witch Doctor.

Yes if your going to play the higher torments he can craft some sets and specific gear, its all randomized so there is a chance you will always get better items, so its good even at low levels sometimes.

So over the past few days I've had a really good go at this game, getting further than I've ever done before. I now understand what nephalem rifts are, adventure bounties, paragon points, etc.

Except I'm a bit stuck. I've been playing a seasonal character (necromancer) and got him to level 70. I've done Chapters I-III in the seasonal journey without much difficulty but I'm getting my ass handed to me in chapter IV which is setting the difficulty to Torment IV. There are a few baddies which are just splatting me in one hit (one of the keymasters) and I don't know how to get past to continue. I seem to be veering towards getting as much equipment with "xxx life on hit" but that might be the wrong approach as if I'm standing in a puddle of toxic gloop, it's draining my health quicker than I can replenish it.

So any ideas anyone?

its all hugely build and gear dependent really, you can go on youtube and read up on some popular builds for necro once you have found a build that suits your style then just farm rifts/g rifts/bounties/spend bloodshards on a torment difficultly you can run easily to gear up on that build.

I would assume you have a 4 peice gear set from the rewards of the season journey already? so shouldn't take you long before your speed running T10's

Is there any point in using the blacksmith? The loot that you pick up from dead enemies seems to do just fine for me?

Its useful to craft specfic items that you can then use to upgrade to legendary's in the cube

Hmm, thanks for your info. It does seem to be rather a lot of farming the bounties so you can get the ingredients required to craft set items, upgrade rares, etc. Not sure I can be bothered with all that. I think I've probably had my fill now and either want to try a new character or give the game a rest for a while.

Yea

Yea end game is really just a grind to get gear and perfect it other then that there isn't much else unless you are trying to push up the greater rift leaderboards but on console that seems pointless given the number of hackers on console, theres very little that useful from crafting its all drops/upgrades or blood shards. Bounty material is more useful for extracting legendary powers into the Cube.
