Diablo 3 worth buying yet with all the problems?

You're mainly getting negative responses as all those enjoying it are playing.
The teething problems are now mostly over.
 
I haven't looked in a few days, but the last time I played I wasn't getting the Error 37, 3007 etc anymore, now I was getting 'Error 1 - could not create the party' and then getting logged out, despite not even trying to create a party... :s

Error 1 was buying this game, unless they fix the servers by the end of the week I think it's gonna join World of Warcraft as a dust collecting platform on my shelf.
 
It's a solid game, but imo not worth £35. If you want to grind through the game on all difficulties, and repeatedly farm the same enemy a few hundred times for that 'perfect' item, then £35 is reasonable.. you could potentially spend a few hundred hours doing this.

So far I've pretty much lost all interest in the middle of act 2.

I don't rate it regardless of the connection issues. The levels are uninspiring and repetitive, there is little in the way of character customization and the story could be told in the space of 20 seconds. It's just one big grind. A game like Max Payne 3 you can tell the developers put a tonne of work into, but D3 is just one small, mediocre bunch of levels that you're just supposed to grind over and over. It's a cheap excuse for a game.
 
only issue ive had is from random freezes where i cant do anything but the game is still playing so i get nailed. normally have to crtl alt del to get out of it, other than that its been fine
 
I don't really play these types of game, played a trial version and loved it!

Bought it straight away from Amazon for 32.99 i think.

Loving the game, 60 hours Ive spent on it, and i am a level 58 barb.

The game is brilliant, yes it does have a few problems but its well worth the cash.
 
Ive not encountered any problems with it (other than part of the AH being down for ingredients).

Torchlight was great for a while, but Ive never managed a second playthrough; i got bored too fast. I must have played through D2 100 times. Unless Torchlight 2 drastically changes the format, i'm weary of the same occuring.
 
TY for all of the input on this game, so I guess I'll wait a couple of months to see if things have gotten any bettere.
