My copies arrived, going for paladin or druid I think.

i used to see loads of copies in bargain bins in tesco/pcworld if i ever had to go into them

Yeah, those have a massive risk of carrying used/invalid cdkeys though. Renders the game useless.

Silly question, but what is the first Diablo actually called? Cause looking on Blizzards site, theres a couple to choose from...Wouldn't mind having a go at the game. But looking at them, they're probably books or something.

just called diablo. it was released in 1996 if that helps, hellfire was a crappy expansion i wouldnt reccomend getting that. i dont know what else they would call it

Yeah, figured it was, don't think you can get that as a standalone download off the blizzard site.

My record was killing baal at 26lvl with tele sorc

. So kinda fast.
The fun part is that I had like lvl 21 while fighting diablo, got 24 before baal and the 24->26 i got just for the elder quest haha.

Im lvl 25 paladin and im stuck on the 2nd acts last boss

Never played a paladin maybe im building him up wrong.

Good for people who have got the cd keys but dont have the CD's or have broken disks. Here is a picture of what the system looks like:

what?!? How on earth did you get to level 25 without even leaving act 2?? have you played bits over and over again?

I beat Diablo at level 21 with my current character and baal at 25, Diablo was damn tough!! I sped run through most of Act 3 though.

Paladins starts shining at about lvl 35-40 when you start maxing out fanatism.
get fast 1h sword and go for fanatism + that multi-hit ability, forgot the name. Add some hp+mana steal gems and you kick ass

Ye I remember fighting diablo at this lvl on sorc with iceblast lol ... hard as hell.

Can't wait for diablo 3...

I still remember times when I played diablo 1 on ps1 and LAN with friends.... ahh.... memories

The game scales as more people are playing, harder to kill mobs/bosses, more exp per kill, better chance of loot droping. If you are playing single player you can set the scale by typing.... /players 6 ...... the scale works from 1 to 6 players(I think it may be more). You can do boss runs in single player, clear the mobs till you get close to the boss then change it to 6 then go kill it. Rince and repeat.

Im playing sp but i typed in the console /players 8 so i went up a lot quicker but the games a lot harder

also just found out that if you type -act2 in the shortcut to diablo you start in act 2 at level 16, all the exp and skills to assign. same for act3, act4 and act5

there isnt any quests done and you have the base equipment, i think im going to do this as well as /players8 and start from the beginning
