Still not arrived but friend near me has received his..
 
Is it me or does the idea of taking one of the hardest substances known and placing it between your cooler and CPU silicon core (for those that remove the heat protector) seem a bit of a liability.

Although it's on the back of the silicon, if the silicon is under strain then scratches are likely to cause it to shatter or break easier.

Not a problem for those that leave the lid on..

Got mine today, been layed up sick for the last few days but will test it on an AMD system later this week and get the results up in the other thread.

Edit: Anyone know the cheapest place to pick up a thermometer capable of measuring the room temperature? I've got one of those electric jobbies but I'm pretty sure they only work when you shove them up your butt, under your armpit or below your tongue (although not necessarily in that order).

Don't mean to complain or be sour here, it is free after all and I really appreciate it, but it's gone to the wrong place again.

Sister got the first tube, and I got this facebook wall post just now:

Frustrating as that address hasn't been used in absolutely forever, I changed the address straight after my name being posted here, and commented here saying it went to the wrong address the first time!

I don't ever see her either, so wont get this in ages...

I havent recieved anything yesterday...so was still waiting for mine paste to turn up...
Checked my address details on mine account and noticed that there was mine old address!!!!! so I thought, that it was delivered to someone else now....
Managed to get a mate of mine from here to send me whats left from his sample to me...

I came back to work today and got surprised!!!!

Two packages were waiting for me!!!! one with ceramic and one with 24 gold :)

Hoorah! Recieved 24c on saturday and the ceramic on monday :O what a pleasent suprise

santa has came early it would seem :p

will get results posted up asap
 
i received another 24c so now i've got a broken one and a fine one :) will be testing it January time once my assignments are done!

finally been pushing my pc a little bit, on mx4 i believe (can't remember), with the i7 950 @ 4.2ghz, rendering in 3ds sends it up to 70c, idle @ 40-45c, not bad!
can't wait to see the temps i'll get for this :]
