Did Covid kill the panel show?

If you watch Dave or Comedy Central then it seems that every single average comedian going has a panel show. Ones about TV shows, ones about embarrassing stories when you were a teenager, rinse and repeat. They're everywhere
 
Don't get me started on Dave's "original content". Ye gods it's awful. Taskmaster was ace but of course they lost that to C4. Everything else is utter tosh.

Not really surprising, none of them have been able to tour for the past 18+ months.
