is it just me or have google changed their search engine so now instead of being all relevant and accurate searchs I'm getting stupid big name websites that have nothing to do with what I'm searching for....

for example
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=n...lla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&gws_rd=cr

used to bring up a list of remote control flying clubs in newcastle including one that flies on exhibition park but now instead the search engine seems to be ignoring most of my words and only counting "newcastle planes"

I know I could search more accurately but I never needed to?

and don't get me started on ******* youtube captchas I have to enter them about 10x a day and I don't even watch that many videos on youtube....

It's a crap search string.

but it used to find what I wanted and atleast on other search engines they found model shops etc where as google goes straight for airlines and tourism when it never used to
anyway it's not that crap.
the website I am looking for is
an RC club in newcastle that fly RC planes on exhibition park :D

thanks first link even though in reality your search term should be less accurate than mine?

You have no mention of a club in your search string, thats why nothing relating to clubs came up. Also exhibition park is throwing it off a bit due to wide number of varied results.

Don't think I've ever had to complete a captcha to watch a YT vid?

lucky you
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=y...lla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&gws_rd=cr

I think virgin media must use a cache server for youtube so youtube thinks everyone from virgin has the same ip and one person is watching millions of videos a day or something...

Do search results vary in Google depending on if you're signed in or not?

I seemed to think they did which may also be related to OPs problem.
