Did I buy the wrong Powerline TP-Link kit?

I have 5 single AV200 Mini Powerline Adapters and all working great.

I needed one more adaptor and decided to go for

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-032-TP&groupid=46&catid=1604&subcat=2024

Giving me one adaptor spare, for now.

They arrived this morning but dont look like the two the image. The code is the same as the older ones TL-PA211KIT

These are a smaller neater looking adaptor, but they dont pair up with my existing adaptors, its the other ones i wanted.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi, plugged it in, went to the older one connected to the router, held in the pair button for about 15 sec, then went to the new one held the pair button again for 10/15 sec, thats more or less it.
Dont think I did anything different this time to the last pairing up of the other plugs.

They should work together.

The instructions I've seen say 3 to 8 seconds. They also say to press the button on the new adapter first, although I'm not sure it matters.

I've had luck in the past setting the keys manually using the software utilities.

Ok,will try new one first,thanks.

No, no luck, still wont connect. I didnt need the software before to get them paired.
They must be different to my original ones, what happens now?

Just see that it says AV 200 "Nano" Powerline Adapter. Are these the wrong ones?

Are the original five still working together? Pressing the buttons for too long can have unexpected results.

I'd try the software. I've TP-Link's utility to successfully get Devolo and TP-Link adapters working together.

Hi, yes all 5 working great, thats why i keep ordering the same ones.
Thanks.

Contacted OC and they found out that its vrs 3 that I have and they also changed the internal design as well. TP-Link have labelled the boxes wrong as far as i can make out from OC. It shouldn't be called TL-PA211KIT, thats why I got the wrong ones.

Have to return them :(

Hi yes, thats what I said to OC as well, I need all of them to work, now, and in the future.
OC are on the ball. This is version 3 and the model number on the nano is Manufacturers Code: TL-PA211KIT
but that is wrong, it should be a different code, as far as i can make out from OC.
I suppose they will change details on the OC web site.

Thought I would send away for another single powerline adapter to match my existing omes, as in my first post,
When it arrived on Saturday it was one like the Mano set I got my mistake, see post 9.
So what now will they all be like these nano ones from now on?

Dont know why that wont work for me, I tried that too. what did you do to pair them up different from me :) How did you do it?

Thanks.

Rang OC and they were very helpful and said that it looks like it will be nanos from now on.
