You havent accidently changed the DPI on windows have you. Although technically this only changes the size, the appearance can be quite different.

I think (certainly for me) the latest update to Chrome changed the bold font used on Unread threads etc

Within posts, the font is fine, but on the Forum index or any hyperlink that uses a bold font, it looks a bit weird.

It seems to affect boards that use VBulletin as another one I use has a similar issue since the Chrome update.

Font tracking or Kerning has definitely been expanded. I hope FireFox isn't like Chrome as I plan to ditch Chrome when I clean install Windows 9.

What's going on with all this padding/expansion and "less for more" stuff with UIs? First Microsoft spearheaded the ultimate padding out and expansion so less fills more with Windows 8 itself, and now Chrome doing it so less text fills more space?
