Im currently in the process of trying to lose weight. I have never eaten baddly, possibly too much at times - but never really bad food. At the moment my standard day generally consists of:
- Breakfast, around 7-10am, a bowl of cereal (cheerios or crunchy nut, which im aware probably isnt my best choice.. but its not the worst, and theyre too dam nice).
- Lunch, bowl of soup from M&S. All of them are around 200-300 Kcal.
- Dinner, generally a curry involving a load of mixed vegetables, chopped tomatoes and curry paste.
I haven't worked it out exactly, but roughly I put my intake at about 1000kcal.
Now, I dont seem to be seeing results from doing this, and I'm wondering where I am going wrong. I'm starting to think its my dinner. Although the dinner is very healthy, is the volume of it a problem? It is the only large meal in my day, a lot bigger than both breakfast and lunch. Does this slow down metabolism? What would be a better way of doing it? Is there something else im missing?
