Difference between 24" Dell Models

Hi Guys,
At the mo I have a Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP and this is an awesome monitor.

Im looking at getting another monitor for another room and I'm after atleast a 22" one. I keep getting back to looking at the Dell ones.

Any suggestions on a decent monitor?
New one litterally needs to have DVI and thats all.

Also what's the difference between the Dell TrueColour and Ultrasharp, apart from the US having better connectivity, nicer stand (and buttons) and being much more expensive?

The TrueColour is a TN panel (which IMHO is a bit dodgy for them to be calling it TrueColour). The UltraSharp's are the higher end models with PVA panels (at 24") and S-IPS (at 30").

To be honest, Dell seems to have lost the plot with monitors recently, each model seems to have at least one (if not more) fatal flaw. The 2408 has horrible input lag for instance and some colour issues on certain panels.

dont say that .....ive just ordered the 2408 ........my highest ever monitor spec

What do you mean by input lag? Im afraid I dont know a huge amount about monitors. Is this something that is only a problem when switching sources or is it a continuous problem?

Any suggestions on a monitor equivalent to the 2407 as I have no problems with this its amazing?
