What are the differences in the manufactures of the HD 5770?

I have pretty much decided on this card, but I don't understand which one I should buy and the differences between them all. Should I go cheapest? Most expensive? Middle of range?

I'm trying to save some cash on my build you see...

Go cheapest unless you can get a Vapour-X for slightly more. That's assuming you won't keep it for all that long though. If you are buying one for the long haul, then go for an XFX one with OcUK premium warranty (assuming it's not too much extra).

I think it's going to have to be the cheapest. Was hoping to keep my build under £500 but it's getting very close to £600 now, thanks to me not realising the Win 7 Windows Offer had ran out.
Are there any nvidia cards that I should be looking at that give the same (if not better, not going to go down) for the same price, or cheaper?

Somethin seriously wrong there, my load temp doesn't pass 62C, 76C on a stock vapor-x isn't right :S.

Unless you have special requirements the cheapest reference design is usually the best bet. Overclocked cards are bad value for money (they tend to push the price closer to the next card up in the range) and cards with decent aftermarket coolers are a bit of a niche. The MSI Hawk is the one I'm looking for. Quietest cooler by a long way and it fits in my case (the reason why I can't go with a lot of aftermarket coolers). Can only find stock at one place though and it's £155 :(

Get the one with longest warranty if it isnt much more expensive otherwise cheapest card, but do consider where the company have thier RMA handling located

Really though, the V2 cooler is superb on these cards as long as your case has decent air flow. If you can get one at £119, I wouldnt bother with the more expensive custom cooled ones.

Any evidence of the vapor x running cooler than standard 5770's ? I have a non vapor x sapphire doesn't go over 62c @960/1400 furmark load.
